Lets do the math folks. An estimated 12,000,000 Americans have had LASIK. The FDA is reporting a 95.4% success rate (however the LASIK industry defines success). If you do some research on LasikNewsWire (dot) com, you can read about how every LASIK surgery and the lasers is causing permanent progressive dry eye syndrome (epidemic now) and there is no cure for this, and how the FLAP is permanent, never heals, and how cells are mutated under the FLAP from the UV light from all of the lasers…they are getting ready to quit LASIK because the industry knows this, and instead push Permanent ICL contact lenses…sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

there is no flap in PRK. LASEK is a “combination” of LASIK and PRK. there are also implantable contact lenses which possible do less harm. buit anyway your vision can change through life and additional corrections = surgeries would be needed. personally I prefer glasses or contact lenses
