beware, you can get really depressed wearing them due to some lack of light comming into your brain

Why do you say that? I have used them for many years with no depression. You don’t wear them all day long. IF that were the case, wouldn’t people who wear sun glasses have depression?

  3. ali84uk Says:

They do have depression, I have experianced that with them. Anyhow, do you still use them and have they improved your eyesight ? thnx

hi has it helped you so far? have you gotten rid of your glasses? how long do you wear them for?

  5. Dottilicious Says:

I would also love to know if they have helped you :)

I have been using them for 10 years and I did stop using my prescription glasses for very many years. In fact, I just got glasses recenbtly and only wear them when I need to read all day long–but they actually are not better than the pinholes.

  7. alitlc Says:

They most definitely helped–especially when doing the eye exercises that came with them. MY problem is more my eye muscles taking too long to change from near to far. So when I do not exercise my eyes ( which the glasses automatically do) I actually have pain in my eye muscles which causes blurry vision.
9 out of 10 people who tried my pinholes had immediate improved vision–while wearing them.

How can you be sure the pinholes caused the depression? How did you control for other variables? How long did you wear them?
I am healthcare practitioner, very familar with the multitude of possible causes of depression–most of which are unknown to the general public–which is why there is so much misdiagnosed depression.
I recommend getting tested by a kinesiologist to be sure.
If the pinholes cause depression then wouldn’t sunglasses also cause depression by blocking light?

  9. Dottilicious Says:

I’ve been using them daily for about two weeks now :)

I was wondering how long it was before you started to notice a difference in your eyesight? And how long did you practice with them every day?

  10. alitlc Says:

As soon as I put them on I can immediately see better. I still wear them–12 years later–when I read a lot or work at the computer. They kept my eyes from deteriorating and I no longer wore prescription lenses . .
One thing that has not changed is wearing them prevents eye migraines.

I generally wear them two hours a day and do the exercises that came with them. anything to use your eye muscles rather than let them weaken so you will need ever stronger prescription lenses.

  11. Dottilicious Says:

That’s wonderful that they have helped you to the extent that you don’t wear your prescription lenses :)

When was it that you noticed you started seeing better without the pinhole glasses as well?

Mine unfortunately didn’t come with exercises :(

sorry but does it affect my recovery when i am using the pinhole glasses and at the same time wear my prescripted glasses as i am a student and i don’t really think that they will allow me to bring these to school

  13. alitlc Says:

I am not a doctor so do not take this as medical advice.
When you wear prescription lenses your eyes are forced to focus through the center of the lens. Therefore your eye muscles weaken over time causing you to need stronger and stronger prescription lenses.
If, for some reason, the school would prevent your taking optimal care of yourself then wear them when you are not in school. This is your life.
    Whatever you do–is your choice.
