The use of pinholes as a way of training eyesight is strongly apposed by eye doctors. Pinholes lead to a greater depth of focus that essentially accomplishes what a lens prescription does in glasses, that is about a 60 percent increase in eyesight. Marketeers try and sell the public on the idea that using pinholes can lead to improved eyesight and being able to throw away glasses. A convincing idea in the hands of the gullible public. Dr. Roberto Kaplan, a Board Certified and former Professor of Optometry, over 30 years ago began researching the use of pinholes as a way to increase the relaxation response between the eye, brain and mind. He measured significant increases in eyesight in a short as 8 minute of vision therapist guided relaxation while wearing the pinholes. Dr. Kaplan carefully documented the most successful practices his patients found helpful and organised this material into an e-booklet. For those people who wish to use pinholes can now use a clinical viable practices in order to increase the possibility of relaxation. In this video, Dr. Kaplan guides a group of patients through an introduction and explains the practices. www.beyond2020vision.com/pinholes

thats good to know, has there been any patients that have seen any improvement in their vision?
27. May 2009 at 2:35 pm
I have documented many cases in my books and papers over the years. There is an average improvement of 30% in eyesight in 21 days. This is an average.

Wow, thats amazing. I will have to try this out. You see i want to improve my vision naturally rather than having to get surgery and having more problems later on. Thats for this grat video and info.

Dr., I have a question. Do you think Anxiety and depression effects our vision???? I have gone thru anxiety and little bit of depression and i am assuming my vision gets worse when my anxiety rises. I have got my eyes checked out and the Doc told me my eyes are healthly other than the having Astigmatism and slight change in vision.
You see Dr. i get sooo woriied about my eyes and then which raises my anxiety.

You are correct. All emotion affects vision. Destructive emotion leads to breakdowns in clear eyesight as well as two-eyed vision. Check out my paper on this theme on my website. Take time off when destructive emotional patterns come to the surface. Go into nature. Cover your eyes, Pursue a hobby. Good luck. Roberto

hmmm i see. What is two-eyed vision???
2. June 2009 at 9:04 am
Two-eyed vision is how well the two eye work or don’t work together. A very common missed test during a vision examination and yet profoundly important. I have papers on this topic on my website.

hmmmm i see, how could i tell if i have two-eyed vision.
4. June 2009 at 11:48 am
Look at a distant object and place a single finger, thumb or pencil between the object and your eyes. What do you notice?
4. June 2009 at 1:55 pm
well i used my finger and saw two fingers when i looked at the distant object.
4. June 2009 at 3:05 pm
Great, that means you are looking through both eyes, therefore you have two-eyed vision, at least a good beginning.

23. June 2009 at 1:58 pm
The pinholes can be shipped to most countries

ive tried pinhole glasses. i might try them again later but i think wearing reading glasses permanently does more for correcting myopia
11. October 2009 at 5:33 pm
Every person is different. For some, like you, the plus lenses have a greater relaxation effect. All this can be measured by a behavioural Optometrist.

glasses only deteriorate your vision :c

sorry but will it affect my recovering chances if i wear my prescripted glasses and wear the pinhole glasses as well because i am a student and am afraid that they would not allow me to wear them to school. will it still affect if i wear my prescripted glasses after my eye workout?
9. December 2009 at 11:10 am
The secret is to use the pinholes when you are on your own. Remove your prescription lenses, put on the pinholes and practice the relaxation techniques described in the e-book. Then practise keeping the relaxed feeling when you again slip on your normal glasses. Eventually you will need to lower the prescription.

once u started wearing an eye glasses….ur eyes`s diopter figures will keeps rising for the rest of ur life…i dont know why this things happen..in the wikipedia,it says that, the eye balls elongating time after times..
2. February 2010 at 10:07 am
The wearing of glasses is like putting a drug before your eye. Don’t you need a prescription to get glasses? In my research, I found special lens prescriptions that over time result in the diopters becoming less. Join the EyeCode info platform where I share free information. Read my books.
