I really want to be a commercial pilot but in order to be one, I have to have 20/20 vision with or without optical aids, but I have 20/40…
I am 15 years old now and I really want to know what I can do to improve my eyesight, so I can become a commercial pilot and maybe not resort to doing a laser surgery.
Anyone know ways to improve vision, eyesight?

natural vitamin A and E ..carrots, fish…
keep a tab on movies, prolonged use of internet, stop playing video games, check if you need to re-design your home lighting..

Well, aside from lasik or PRK, which at 20/40 are really unnecessary, and you are uneligible right now due to your age. There are always glasses or contacts.
There are also a new type of contact you wear at night that temporarily reshapes your cornea to give you 20/20 vision.
Implantable contacts may be an option for you in the future as well.
