Carrots will do nothing for your vision.

They don’t improve night vision either. Someone who has a vitamin A deficiency can develop night blindness, in which case Vitamin A can help restore night vision. A vitamin A deficiency is not often seen in the developed countries of the world.

During WW2 , Britain had developed radar for night bombing over Germany, and explained the good night vision on eating carrots….to try and hide the fact they had perfected the radar.

That started the myth , and it won’t go away.

Carrots contain some vitamins that are good for general eye health , like many other foods do. But eye health has nothing to do with improving vision.

Nearsightedness or farsightedness isn’t caused by a vitamin deficiency , therefore vitamins can’t fix it or reverse it.

It’s surprising kids in high schools in the US aren’t ever taught that.

I just saw this on television this past week, and no they don’t spinach on the other hand is suppose to help with vision. carrots refer back to some soldiers eating them . I can’t remember the whole story but I made a mental image that they don’t help you.
